Pico de Gallo
Ingredients:
- 6 Roma Tomatoes or 1 Cup of Cherry Tomatoes
- 1/2 Cup Red Onion, Finely Chopped
- 2/3 Cup Cilantro, Finely Chopped
- 1-2 Serrano Pepper(s) or Jalapeno, Finely Chopped (Corded & Deseeded)
- 1-2 Lime, Juiced
- 1/2 Sea Salt or Garlic Salt
- 1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 4 Cloves of Garlic, Minced (Optional)
- 1/2 Tsp Cumin (Optional)
- Pinch Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
Once all ingredients have been prepared, add them into bowl and thoroughly mix together or Blend all ingredients together. *Refrigerate for an hour to allow flavors to combine.
Serve with Gluten-Free Tortilla Chips and Enjoy!
Also, great served over Grilled Chicken, Tacos, or your favorite Mexican dishes.
Pico de gallo should never be cooked and should always be made with raw fresh ingredients.
*Salsa is made more in a more liquid consistency. Pico de gallo is chucky with less liquid.
