What is the alkaline diet? Alkaline diet is based on the concept that certain foods affect the body's PH balance and promoting whole and unprocessed foods. By eliminating these acid forming foods will in turn benefit the body's well being and improve your health. This diet can also help with managing health related issues. The Alkaline diet will restrict individuals from consuming "proceed foods" and "junk food". This diet encourages high intake of plant based foods such as fruits and vegetables.
Mucus forming foods include but does not limit to: Meats (ALL ANIMAL FLESH), Dairy, Sweets, Sodas, Processed Foods, and Starchy Foods (Rice, Bread, Pastas, and Potatoes).
Suggestions:
Drink 1 Gallon of water (alkaline, spring, distilled).
Include Seamoss in your daily regimen.
Replace Vegetable Cooking with Grapeseed Oil for cooking and frying foods.
Replace cow's milk with plant based milks such as Almond Milk, Hemp Milk, Coconut Milk, etc.
Rice should be replaced with Wild Rice and/or Quinoa.
Eliminate Iodized (Table) Salt Completely.
Add Key Lime, Lemon, or Apple Cider Vinegar in warm water when you wake up.
Eliminate White Sugar for a more healthy alternate with date sugar, agave nectar, monk fruit, or coconut sugar.
Eat more fruits and vegetables and stay away from canned fruits due to its high sugar content.
Focus on wholefoods.
